Tips for Choosing a Book:

  • Look for book award stickers on the front cover.  If the book has won awards, others liked it so you might, too.

  • Look for a book trailer on YouTube.

  • Look for a summary sentence on the copyright page. Most hard back books have a single sentence that sums up the book.

  • Read a sample chapter of the book on Amazon.com or BN.com.  If you like it, read on.  If not, move on.
